Type U-43 ("B II" U-Boats)
U-43 and U-47 = 2 U-Boats
On 30th of July 1917 two more U-Boats of German type "BII" were taken over. The German "UB-43" became the Austro-Hungarian "U-43" and the German "UB-47" became "U-47". Since 1916, both U-Boats were already detached by the Imperial German Navy to Pola Naval Base to operate in the Mediterranean, manned by German crews until hand over.
